INTELLI-USE™ is Vervotex’s simple, color-coded system for making smart decisions about AI in schoolwork. Whether a student is planning a project or writing a paper, the system helps them understand when and how AI is appropriate—and where their own voice needs to lead.

It’s built to support teachers, empower learners, and bring clarity, consistency, and integrity to AI use across your school.

🧠 The 5 Tiers of INTELLI-USE™

T1 – Explore & Extend 🟢

Use AI to learn something new, ask questions, or get summaries. Great for background knowledge and brainstorming.

T2 – Plan & Prepare 🟢

Use AI to organize your thoughts, outline ideas, or build a study guide. Like a planning partner—just cite if needed.

T3 – Draft & Develop 🟡

AI can support with rephrasing, rewriting, or suggesting ideas, but you do the final work. Teacher awareness recommended.

T4 – Guided Generation 🔴

AI creates major parts of the work, only when it’s assigned or approved by the teacher. Often paired with reflections or comparisons.

T5 – Do Not Use 🔴

When it’s your mind that matters most, tests, personal reflections, or integrity-based assessments, AI use is off-limits.

🏷 Tier Tagging: A Simple Way to Set Expectations

Example Assignment Label:

INTELLI-USE™ Tier 3 — You may use AI to brainstorm and edit, but your final draft must be written in your own words.

Tier Tags can be added to any assignment header, slide deck, or digital handout—removing guesswork and setting a consistent school-wide standard.

Encourage reflection for Tier 3 and 4 work:

What did AI help you with?
What parts did you revise or fix?
Did the AI say anything incorrect?
What did you learn from the process?

These prompts create self-awareness and responsible habits, not just compliance.
